spring bar/little rat bubble gum ice cream - june 29th 2.5/5
it’s tasted like being seven and you are at the waterpark and you beg your dad to buy you overpriced ice cream. you get cookies n cream but ur brother gets bubblegum / cotton candy and his flavor tastes better so you are sad but everything is still good. but yea this tasted nostalgic. the topping options were cute and classic. i went with alessandra because she visiting yay. sweet.
yellow rose east village texas sheet cake 5/5 - july 6th
walked here after work in the rain, like the kind of rain/mist that you can’t really use an umbrella to protect yourself against. my favorite weather actually. so i wore my pink supreme hoodie zipped all the way to the top and hood up. i listened to heaven or las vegas like 3x over and greaser by the crying nudes 2x which made me feel heavenly and angelic given the weather. the cake was beautiful and moist and the frosting was rich and it was topped with olive oil drizzle and pecans. i’ve never been to texas but i want to go now. the ambiance inside was really comforting and cute, i sat at the window but the bar had cute antique lamps. they have a pink version of the cake that i will be back to try.
